Move #1

Well I’ve been here 2 weeks and I’ve moved house already!  The house I was in:

It’s been sold to the mine site – and they want to renovate.  So, I’ve been moved to a visitors house in Taphan Hin – about 20kms away.  Eventually I will be moving next door in late April – when the person currently living there moves to  Bangkok.  Who wants an easy life? 🙂

Anyway it’s much smaller than the Exploration house.  It’s a single story with more locks and keys than you can poke a stick at.  I moved after work tonight so it was dark when I decided to take some pics.  I’ll try and get one from the street on the weekend.  So here is the view looking out from the front door:

And take a look at the locks – there’s one on the gate, one on the front door (then you need to unlock the front door AND the sliding door inside it, and then there’s the padlock on the backdoor!):

There are 3 fully furnished bedrooms – 1 with en suite.  The shared bathroom is off the kitchen and as both spare bedroom are off the kitchen their air conditioning cools it down.  You have got to love that!!!!!!  No more sweating like mad in the kitchen – woohoo!

Oh yes and look what I have now:

Yes indeed that little beauty on the right hand side of the bench is a little toaster oven!  I am itching to try it out – need to get a tray – or some foil.  Of course there will need to be some experimenting *grin*.  It does have temperature indications for different things you might want to cook – like cake…… dodidodidodidodidodidodido

More about the new place another day.  When I move next door (yes I go from unit 2 to unit 1) it will all feel the same – possibly the furnishings and colours will be different, but the layout of the place is the same.
